Hammerite Direct To Rust Metal Paint 0.7l, hammered brown

• It is not required to thoroughly wipe off old paint or already formed rust. It is enough to roughly sand them with sandpaper.

APPLICATION

1. Lightly stir before use. Do not mix vigorously. 2. Abrade smooth surfaces and remove all loose rust and flaking paint with a wire brush. Remove dirt, dust and grease with diluted detergent. Rinse with clean water and allow time to dry. 3. On bare zinc, aluminium and galvanised surfaces apply Hammerite Special Metals Primer before applying Hammerite Direct to Rust Metal Paint. 4. Application methods Brush, roller, conventional spray or aerosol.

Drying time: surface dry in 1-2 hours at 25ºC. Recoating time: 4 hours at 25ºC. Precautions: Do not apply during cold (below 10°C) or wet weather.

Hazard statements: H226 - Flammable liquid and vapour. H336 - May cause drowsiness or dizziness. H412 - Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects.

Precautionary statements: P102 - Keep out of reach of children. P101 - If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. P210 - Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. P233 - Keep container tightly closed. P262 - Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. P304 + P340 - IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. P312 - Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell. P235 - Keep cool. Hazardous ingredients: Hydrocarbons, C9-C11, n-alkanes, isoalkanes, cyclics, <2% aromatics.  Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.
