Description

- It is not required to thoroughly wipe off old paint or already formed rust. It is enough to roughly sand them with sandpaper.
APPLICATION
1. Lightly stir before use. Do not mix vigorously. 2. Abrade smooth surfaces and remove all loose rust and flaking paint with a wire brush. Remove dirt, dust and grease with diluted detergent. Rinse with clean water and allow time to dry. 3. On bare zinc, aluminium and galvanised surfaces apply Hammerite Special Metals Primer before applying Hammerite Direct to Rust Metal Paint. 4. Application methods Brush, roller, conventional spray or aerosol.
Drying time: surface dry in 1-2 hours at 25ºC. Recoating time: 4 hours at 25ºC. Precautions: Do not apply during cold (below 10°C) or wet weather.
