You are protected from the sunshine all day long, since the parasol can be tilted. The fabric gives excellent protection against the sun’s UV rays as it has a UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) rating of 50+, which means it blocks 98% of the ultraviolet radiation. The fabric is made of polyester, of which at least 90% is recycled – a durable material which is tested, approved and free from harmful substances and additives. It’s easy to keep the canopy clean and fresh since you can easily remove and machine wash it. The air vent reduces wind pressure and allows heat to circulate. The strap with buckle keeps the fabric in place when folded. The parasol base will last longer and keep looking fresh, as it is both UV stabilised to withstand prolonged exposure to sunlight and fade resistant. The parasol is easy to open or close by using the crank. The rectangular shape of the canopy and the hanging construction make SVALÖN parasol perfect to place next to your lounge set. You can also tilt the parasol, so it protects you from the sun all day.  Each part of the parasol base must be completely filled with sand. Approximately 64 litres of sand are needed to fill all four parts, giving a total weight of about 90 kg. Always fold the parasol when not in use and never use it when it is windy. The parasol does not provide protection against reflected or scattered solar ultraviolet radiation. May be completed with TOSTERÖ parasol cover (220 cm).
