I-tec USB 3.0 Metal Charging HUB is an ideal addition for anyone who has an insufficient number of USB ports on their notebooks, ultrabooks or PCs and is constantly forced to connect and disconnect their favorite USB devices such as flash drives, Tablets, digital cameras, MP3 players, printers, etc.
HUB has 4 USB 3.0 ports with Plug & Play and USB charging - HUB automatically detects USB devices that need charging.
USB 3.0 ports are especially important for optimal data transfer from USB 3.0 and flash memory, most of which allow for high transfer rates.
The advantage is an external power supply that can be used to back up data on external hard drives or connect high power devices that are powered directly from the USB port.
