Description

VAPOURSEAL is a ready to use plasto-elastic 1-component sealing adhesive, on acrylic dispersion base, for indoor air and vapour tight
connections with all types of vapour barrier foils.

APPLICATIONS

Ideal for making air tight connections between vapor barrier foils and all kind of building substrates.
Air tight connections between adjacent constructions.
Guarantees air and vapor tight connections according to DIN4108-7 and NBN EN13829 if applied correctly.

 

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Method: Apply an adhesive bead of approx. 5 mm thickness by means of a caulking gun onto one surface near the edge of the vapour barrier foil.
Apply the foil with sufficient movement capacity on the substrate allowing to follow all movements of the building construction.
Do not crush the adhesive completely but keep an adhesive of thickness 1 to 2 mm. Provide a min. adhesive width of 25 mm.
Application temperature: +5°C to +50°C
Clean: VAPOURSEAL can be cleaned from tools and substrates immediately after use with Soudal Adhesive Cleaner 90A or with Soudal Swipex.
