Dramatically reducing the amount of data needed to establish a connection allows you to reduce storage requirements while increasing image quality. H.265+ is the latest video compression standard called HEVC ( High Efficiency Video Coding). The H.265+ codec reduces the size of recorded data by over 80% compared to the first generation. Thanks to the use of intelligent analysis, predictive coding, background noise suppression and adaptive bandwidth control, the average gain over the popular H.264 compression is 30%. The modern and intuitive menu in Hikvision cameras allows you to test the camera at any time and conveniently view live images. Setting image parameters is extremely intuitive. The stability of the camera's operation is ensured by the option to back up settings, and the preventive function of the automatic camera restart secures the daily effectiveness of monitoring. The possibility to set and select built-in analytics, such as line crossing, vehicle/human object discrimination provides countless analytical possibilities of the recorded image, or to trigger external logic. Higher camera models in line with the decentralisation trend have built-in analytics. As network edge devices, some cameras have built-in analytics based on artificial intelligence AI algorithms and already from this level they analyse the image and send all the information to the DVR.

Management, monitoring, configuration The motion detection system is an intelligent function that enables video recording to be started when objects are detected moving within the working area of the device. This minimises the review time of the video footage and gives you the option to receive a notification if there is movement in the field of view of the camera. D-WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) wide dynamic range of exposure, i.e. compensation of strong contrasts and brightness differences. It improves the reproduction of the scene in the case of large differences in the level of illumination of different parts of it. This technology perfectly copes with image recording in the presence of non-uniform exposure of the frame. 3D DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) digital noise reduction function. It filters the pixels of the sensor in order to remove noise in the recording caused by interference (e.g. from changes in signal intensity) and the correct rendering of colours by the camera. This ensures clear and transparent recordings both during the day and at night. AGC (Automatic Gain Control) is an advanced function that allows the system to increase the signal level. The correction, applied on an ongoing basis, ensures stable image quality captured under changing observation conditions. AES (Automatic Electronic Shutter) function, which guarantees the appropriate exposure of the material regardless of changes in lighting. BLC (Back Light Compensation) function preserves clarity and detail of objects in both the foreground and background of the observed scene.
