The 991A Deco Black line consists of knives made of top-quality X50CrMoV15 stainless steel with added chromium (for corrosion resistance), molybdenum (to reduce steel brittleness) and vanadium (for improved wear resistance). The Rockwell hardness of Deco Black knife blades is 53–55 HRC.  This model has an ergonomic, non-slip handle made of a durable ABS plastic. All knives of the Deco Black line have symbols on the handle to identify their specific functions. The set is available with an oak wood block. It will be a perfect addition to any kitchen.

To make the Gerlach knives look good and last even longer, they should be washed by hand. Washing in a dishwasher, due to the high water temperature and the added chemicals, may permanently damage the blades and handles of the knives. Gerlach kitchen knives come with a 2-year warranty.
