Description

Dr Seidel selenium shampoo concentrate is a perfect wash and care product for dogs treated for skin conditions such as dry seborrhoea (dandruff), pruritus, excessive skin dryness or redness. Contains selenium that has keratolytic and keratoplastic properties. The shampoo effectively removes event the most resistant skin debris and dirt from the skin surface and gives your dog’s hair natural softness and shine.

A conditioning product designed for use during the treatment of:
dry seborrhoea (dandruff)
severe itching
excessive desquamation
skin reddening

Active substance
Selenium disulphide – exerts an anti-mitotic effect on the epidermal cells and hair follicles, thus inhibiting excessive skin flaking, reducing skin redness and pruritus. It is an ideal degreasing agent with keratolytic and keratoplastic properties. The degreasing properties can be helpful in treating Malassezia-induced skin infections.

Attention
In case of oily seborrhoea or oily dandruff, we recommend Dr Seidel tar and bio-sulphur shampoos.
Shake well before use.
In white-coated dogs the shampoo may leave stains due to active selenium content.

The colour of the shampoo may differ from batch to batch which is a normal production side-effect and does not affect its performance.
Increased skin exfoliation may be observed after the first wash.
This is because of the mechanism of action of the active substance and disappears after two or three baths. Store in room temperature.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Protect from light.
