DOLINA NOTECI PREMIUM FOOD FOR SENIOR DOGS
The foods have been developed according to the latest standards and nutritional recommendations. Consequently, they are perfectly adapted to the requirements of aging and old dogs. While developing the composition, the results of scientific observations as regards the influence of biologically active compounds on aging organisms have been taken into account.
The foods are a source of high-quality protein rich in amino acids such as lysine, leucine, phenylalanine and tryptophan. The addition of chicken eggs influences the content of other exogenous amino acids and provides the dog with valuable fatty acids. The amount of proteins in the food is adapted to the requirements of older dogs.
The foods contain fatty acids in proportions ensuring correct metabolic processes. The source of fats and unsaturated fatty acids are meat and animal derivatives, as well as vegetable oils of high biological quality. Salmon fat, a source of n-3 fatty acids and a number of biologically active substances with anti-inflammatory properties (EPA and DHA acids), control inflammation processes and improve skin function as well as appearance of coat.
The addition of yeast, beta glucans and mannanoligosaccharides ensures correct digestive processes and stimulates growth of beneficial intestinal microflora.
Due to its significant anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, methylsulfonylmethane helps keep the inflammatory reaction on a suitable level and has a protective impact on cell ingredients which may be damaged as the organism gets older.
Thyme, basil and rosemary provide a dog with additional portion of biologically active compounds with a wide spectrum of biological action and improve the flavour of the food.
Carrots and potatoes, on the other hand, provide necessary energy for metabolic processes and – as sources of i.a. dietary fibre – ensure proper digestive processes and regulate defecation.
Observing recommended food dosage is a guarantee of correct nourishment without the risk of overweight or obesity.
